I am pleased to announce that St John Fisher is launching a new Student Leadership Programme. Student Leadership will enable your child to develop key skills such as teamwork and communication, as well as build confidence.

Student Leadership is also a fantastic opportunity for students to feel empowered and to take an active role in driving the improvements of the school. To this end, the aim of the new St John Fisher Student Leadership Programme is to empower students to work in partnership with staff and other students towards shared goals.

Our bespoke Student Leadership Programme will enable creativity to flourish as the school community benefits from the wealth of experiences, ideas, skills, and sense of fun that students bring. The Programme will also provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills through a variety of projects whilst preparing students for Higher Education and for achieving personal and professional excellence in life after formal education.

All students will have the choice of which Leadership Role they wish to apply for, these roles can vary depending on their Year group. All roles available to apply for will enable your child to be ambitious in attaining these positions and will promote excellence in and outside of school. This is a great experience and an asset for your child’s future CV and job application. Full training in Student Leadership will be available to your child if successful in gaining a Student Leadership Role
