Students and staff at St. John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School are celebrating today following the publication of this year’s A-Level and vocational results, with improved outcomes across all three post-16 qualification routes.
The average grade points per entry for A-Level qualifications increased to 25.8, while Applied General qualifications achieved an average of 29.2 points per entry and Tech Level qualifications reached 34.0 points per entry. Importantly, all three measures represent an improvement on the previous year, reflecting the continued progress being made across the Sixth Form.
These results are testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of our students throughout their Sixth Form journey. Alongside the overall improvement, there have been some excellent individual achievements and strong performances across a range of subjects and qualifications.
Most importantly, our students are now progressing to an exciting range of destinations. Many will begin university courses this autumn, while others will move on to apprenticeships, employment and further training.

Whether they are heading to university, beginning an apprenticeship, entering employment or continuing their training, we are enormously proud of them and excited to see what they go on to achieve.”
