Press Release: St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School Sixth Form Results 2022

St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School is pleased to announce our 2022 examination results.

  • 17% of all grades are equivalent to A or A*
  • 51% of all grades are equivalent to A*- C
  • The average grade for a vocational qualification was a Merit
  • The average grade for A Levels was a D

These grades reflect the hard work and commitment that our students have put in over their seven years with us.

  • Lois Samper-Moore (A*, A, A), who goes on to study Law at Manchester University
  • Anisa Islam (A, A, B) who goes on to study Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Bath
  • Filip Gucwa (B, Distinction*, Distinction) who goes on to study Computer Science at the University of Sussex
  • Annalise Helene (B, B, Distinction*) who goes on to study Business at Surrey University
  • Tayah Coleman (B, B, Distinction) who goes on to study Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent

We congratulate them and all our students on their achievements. Other students have been accepted to read the following subjects at these fantastic destinations:

  • Social Sciences at the University of Kent
  • Chemical Engineering at the University of Bradford
  • English Literature at Angela Ruskin University
  • International Business at the University of Portsmouth

Headteacher Dympna Lennon said that ‘As Headteacher of a proudly comprehensive school, I am thrilled with the results of students of all abilities, especially considering the challenges they have faced in this pandemic. I look forward to hearing their success stories as they progress to university, further education or high quality apprenticeships. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the staff, parents and students who’ve worked together over the past two years.’

Assistant Headteacher Emma Bailey, Head of Sixth Form, commented ‘I am immensely proud of all our students; they have been role models for our school, and I know that they will continue to give back to our community.’
