St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School is pleased to announce our 2024 GCSE examination results.

  • 51% of students achieved five grades 9-4
  • 52% of students achieved a grade 4 in both English and Maths
  • 27% of students achieved a grade 5 in both English and Maths

We are delighted to share that our students at St John Fisher have received pleasing GCSE examination results. These results are a sign of the hard work and commitment that our students have put in over their five years with us. Our students have achieved some outstanding results, including:

  • Yee (one grade 9, three grade 8s, four grade 7s and 2 grade 6s)
  • Jarem (seven grade 8s and two grade 7s)
  • Glory (two grade 9s, three grade 7s, four grade 6s)
  • Rice (one grade 9, three grade 8s, four grade 7s)

We congratulate them and all our students on their achievements.

Headteacher Dympna Lennon said that ‘I am so pleased to be able to celebrate the achievement of this year group. As a year group, they have worked well as a team and were able to collectively achieve some great results despite many challenges. These outcomes are proof of the wonderful working relationships between our excellent staff, parents and students.’

Many of our pupils will be returning to be part of SJF’s community in our sixth form, which saw some pleasing results last week. We will empower them to achieve their dreams; others are going on to local colleges and apprenticeships. We wish all our students the best of luck in their bright futures.
