We are delighted with these results, as they represent the culmination of five years’ hard work by staff and students, building on the excellent work from our local primary schools. Headteacher Dympna Lennon said that ‘The changes in culture and increasingly high aspirations at St John Fisher are evident in these wonderful results. I would like to pay tribute to our families, staff and students for their immense hard work.’ Head of Year 11, Stephanie Morris, said ‘We are thrilled with the hard work and effort our students have put in to secure their GCSE results.’
Many of our pupils will continue being part of SJF’s community in our sixth form, and we look forward to empowering them to achieve their dreams; others are going on to local grammar schools, colleges and apprenticeships. We wish all our students luck in their bright futures.
